Major suppliers accelerate integration activities with SciQuest

Suppliers participating in the quarterly meeting included; Alltech Associates, Amersham Pharmacia Biotech, Ambion, BioWhittaker, Endogen, Pierce, Perbio Science, KPL, PerkinElmer Instruments, PerkinElmer Life Sciences, QIAGEN, Schleicher & Schuell, and Shimadzu Scientific Instruments.

In a joint statement issued after the meeting, the suppliers affirmed, "Our companies selected SciQuest over a year ago because of its industry focus, proven technology and commitment to excellence in execution. Our industry has a common interest in having an independently operated and industry-sponsored company to provide software, services and supply chain solutions that make e-commerce work for the scientific industry."

Commenting on recent announcements within the industry, the statement continued, "We believe it is extremely clear that SciQuest's strategy and execution have been superior.
