eResearchTechnology signs ASP deployment contracts with three CRO's

In partnership with USinternetworking (USi), eRT has built a scalable and validated environment that enables clients to process clinical data for Phase I through IV trials. These trials can be processed regardless of the size or the associated transaction volume for a monthly fee without having to build and maintain significant technology related infrastructure.

According to ERT, mid-size CRO's can enable pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients to make the transition from traditional paper based processing by leveraging the power of the Internet to accelerate clinical development while harvesting real-time data for better decision-making.

"Our partnership with the USi AppHost Program offers a reliable, high-speed infrastructure that enables our clients to rapidly deploy our research technology," said Joseph Esposito, eRT's President and CEO.

"The USi AppHost program enables eRT to offer its clients fast, dependable access to their application over the Internet," said Steve McManus, President of the e-commerce business unit at USi. "eRT's applications are a perfect fit for the AppHost model, and we are pleased to partner with them to further increase the options for companies who rely on eRT's eResNet offering to build high speed research transaction processing networks."

ERT has signed ASP contracts with: META Solutions, which utilizes advanced technology to help the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries improve information management processes and procedures; Pharmaceutical Information Associates, a Philadelphia based CRO that provides integrated product development services and Vujaklija, a CRO specializing in pharmaceutical industry services in Phase II and III clinical trials.
