Clinomics launches microarray databases

"We're really excited about the release of this 1.0 series of our Genomic Medicine Series databases," said Patrick Muraca, co-founder and General Manager of Clinomics. "This is the most advanced library available of statistically-significant numbers of highly-characterized specimens in a high-throughput format, linked to a database of demographic, pathology and medical data that is unprecedented in its completeness."

The series is a proprietary set of specimen-linked databases, designed for use in genomic target profiling research. The GMS service includes: the Disease of the Breast, series 1.0; the Survey of Normal Specimens, series 1.0; the Cancer Screening Survey, series 1.0 and the Diseases of the Brain (neurodegenerative and psychiatric), series 1.0.

"The Genomic Medicine Series is the upper end of our growing line of Tissue MicroArray databases," Muraca said. "Our GMS databases are available in different versions, so that they can be tailored to individual needs."
