Sophie Schmitz is a managing partner at Partners4Access who is passionate about change for the better of price, reimbursement and market access teams in the Life Sciences industry. At the very core of her focus is helping teams drive both value and access for patients in need of treatment. Partners4Access is a global consultancy specialised in access for orphan drugs. The company support the biotechnology industry along their launch journey from as early as phase II clinical trial design, to help secure successful price and access for orphan drugs. Partnership is a fundamental part of the approach with clients; as such the P4A team has partnered with many US and EU based biotechs to help them successfully launch their first orphan drug globally. The company work with pharmaceutical clients across a 5 stage journey which they use to help evaluate, shape and deliver orphan drug value.
