RRI employs Advanced Clinical Software's (ACS) Study Manager clinical trial management software to enhance the profitability and efficiency of their operation and give sponsors critical information including patient tracking, protocol management, enrollment progress, and financial management. In a new agreement between ACS and RRI, ACS will add sophisticated new capabilities to the Web-based version of Study Manager, including a multi-site task management system, investigator database, and additional financial reports beyond those currently offered by the product.

"The new enhancements to Study Manager will allow RRI to better fulfill both site and sponsor needs for more efficient study conduct and real-time study management and reporting, said Beth Harper, RRI's Senior Vice President of Operations. "We should be able to realize new efficiency gains in a wide range of areas including pre-trial site capability evaluation, site performance tracking, on-line regulatory document tracking, task management across multiple sites, and financial reporting."

"Our goal is to enable our customers to manage research faster and more efficiently, with less stress, more control, and greater profitability," said Bruce D. Schatzman, President of ACS. "Our agreement with RRI is an important part of a larger effort to continuously evolve the capabilities of our products to effectively tackle the new demands and requirements of clinical research in a Web-based world."
