Reliant selected the Ariba Spend Management applications: Ariba Analysis, Ariba Buyer, Ariba Contracts, Ariba Invoice and Ariba Travel & Expense to reduce the costs, resources, and time associated with its existing procurement processes. The applications are already up and running and the company reports it is realizing significant benefits and cost savings.
The system was rolled out to Reliant's entire headquarters and field sales management in a matter of weeks, rendering paper purchase requisitions and paper check requisitions a thing of the past. As part of the deployment, Reliant implemented electronic e-forms that are improving workflow processes and capturing data in a usable format.
"Ariba Spend Management is helping us address critical issues in transforming our procurement and spend management processes," said Lawrence Gyenes, Executive Vice President and CFO, Reliant. "We are already seeing cost savings that are not only benefiting our company but ultimately our customers and suppliers as well."
