CompleWare, headquartered in Iowa City, Iowa, offers a range of
products and services for integrated clinical research data capture and
management. QRS specializes in software-based medical devices that integrate with off-the-shelf PCs, handheld computers and Internet appliances.
QRS PC Cards perform spirometry, pulse oximetry, and
electrocardiography (ECG), and will soon include blood pressure and vital
signs monitoring.

"Using WebCRF, a sponsor can collect virtually all clinical trial data
using automated systems in a wireless environment eliminating the need for any
manual double-entry of data," said Kay Weiler, CompleWare
Vice President. "This innovative software product increases monitoring
capabilities and leads to quicker capture of high quality data. Study results
can be monitored through secure Web access. WebCRF is a total solution for
the capture of clinical trial data."

"We are very excited to provide our PC Card-based medical devices as a
fully integrated piece of WebCRF," said Greg Newman, QRS Business Development
and OEM Sales Manager. "The CompleWare model of fully automating the clinical
trial process parallels the innovative approach QRS has taken with diagnostic
testing. This partnership will bring to market a combined product offering
that will improve both the efficiency and accuracy of the clinical trial
process."
