Pfizer signs manufacturer agreement with MedContrax
According to the partnering companies, the MedContrax CPN will act as a third-party interface between Pfizer, pharmaceutical distributors and group purchasing organizations (GPOs). The agreement will enable Pfizer, distributors and GPOs to utilize MedContrax e-RFQ and contract data management services to securely create and document valid contract pricing for the end users, via non-repudiable purchasing agreements online.

Allowing the three stakeholders; manufacturers, distributors, and GPOs, to review on-line and/or download real-time data without it being owned by any of the entities, should provide efficiencies and cost savings to all stakeholders.
