MetaClin's EDC software selected for central nervous system trials

"This is the best system we have used," said Mark Roffman, Vice President of Drug Development at CNS.

"This is the best system we have used," said Mark Roffman, Vice President of Drug Development at CNS. "A big selling feature for us was that the study coordinators and CRAs liked the system because it is intuitive and easy to use. In addition, we can run it on any hardware without having to worry about downloading additional software, patches or updates."

TrialQuest is an Internet-based application tool that leverages JAVA, Java Server Pages (JSPs) and XML to manage data collection. Software Safety, a leader in computer system validation, recently audited TrialQuest to verify for its ability to enable 21 CFR part 11 compliance and to verify systems for design, development, testing and customer support.

"We wanted to create a tool that was simple and easy to use," said Kip McKenzie, co-founder and COO of MetaClin Research. "We felt that many companies were having to pay for bells and whistles, when the critical tool is one that lets them know where they are in the process of data collection."
