InnaPhase to work with Oracle to create Early Drug Development data warehouse

According to the partnering companies the EDD data warehouse will be linked to InnaPhase's vertical drug development systems, and will be designed to support the integration of third-party software products to enable pharmaceutical companies to
integrate disparate data and applications. The technology is designed to offer scientists and decision-makers the ability to manage early research and development information in a single data store.

In addition, the EDD data warehouse is designed to link into similar development efforts in the discovery and clinical areas to allow for faster throughput and information exchange across the R&D process.

"Rapid evolution in techniques and technologies has taken place in many areas of pharmaceutical research and development, with drug development pipelines being filled beyond capacity by novel discovery approaches," said Peter Ryan, Chairman and CEO of InnaPhase. "The result has been a dramatic increase in the number of preclinical and clinical studies conducted to support a new drug submission. Pharmaceutical companies face the challenge of deciding earlier and faster which drug candidates produce the best return on investment, in order to enter clinical testing. We believe that by linking all our current and future software
products to the EDD data warehouse, created through our relationship with Oracle, InnaPhase can offer our customers substantial value by helping to speed drug development."
