ClinPhone has purchased TrialTrac and its TrialWorks system, a clinical and regulatory data tracking software, which has gained a strong reputation among small and medium-sized biotech and pharma companies, primarily in the United States.

The only operational changes are a relocation of staff from the Brooklyn NY office of TrialTrac to ClinPhone's US headquarters in Princeton NJ. ClinPhone plans to put the weight of its research and development team behind development of the software to provide new and existing clients with a range of additional features. ClinPhone's global presence will also help expand TrialWorks' European client base.

TrialWorks is a proven user-friendly CTMS software package and a pragmatic solution for many companies, said Jonathan Engler, ClinPhone Joint Managing Director. The beauty of ClinPhone's service-orientated systems is that we can integrate with any CTMS software package, whether it is an in-house system or a tailored version of commercially available software. Offering that versatility is a fundamental part of our long-term philosophy but we also have strategic plans to offer software solutions alongside our service-based technologies. This purchase represents a significant step towards executing that strategy.

Headquartered in Nottingham in the UK, ClinPhone Group has US offices in New Jersey, Massachusetts, Illinois, and California; as well as a mainland European facilities in Brussels, Belgium and Heidelberg, Germany.
