Channel Link launches B2B pharmaceutical e-commerce platform



Founded on the belief that there is a better way to market and distribute pharmaceuticals from creator to dispenser, Channel Link has built a first of its kind, end-to-end sell-side solution that allows large pharmaceutical manufacturers to reconnect with their hard to reach buyers, such as pharmacies and physician clinics, said William Roth, CEO Channel Link. The founders have established the marketplace platform to allow for the electronic exchange of product catalog information, catalog updates, inventory snapshots, orders, order acknowledgements, shipment status and invoices. It also will give manufacturer's complete administrative control over customer pricing, promotional opportunities, and product details.

Buyers will have access, through a standard browser, to the major pharmaceutical manufacturers, search functionalities, including phonetics and keyword, and the ability to buy direct from multiple manufacturers and pay one invoice.

The marketplace offers procurement workflow, allowing permission-based functions for different users within the same organization, along with complete order and account visibility.
