CB Technologies and MonitorForHire.com partner to certify clinical monitors on MetaTrial EDC

According to the partnering companies, the collaboration will provide study sponsors with a pool of pre-screened, qualified monitors proficient in the use of MetaTrial EDC to enable the integration of EDC technology into the clinical trials process.

"This partnership with CB Technologies further enhances the valuable career tools that we provide to independent monitors," said Scott Freedman, President of MonitorForHire.com. "Our registered monitors now have access to the technology expertise needed for today's clinical trials. EDC is becoming an integral part of the clinical trials process and we want to give monitors the exposure to the best technologies. We spoke with some of CB's clients and previous users who gave MetaTrial very high marks for usability, and saw this as an excellent opportunity to educate clinical monitors on EDC."

According to CB Technologies, MetaTrial is a browser-based hybrid EDC system for use in clinical trials and is designed to allow users to enter data from a patient site visit either online or offline.

"We are very pleased to announce this relationship with MonitorForHire.com. CB is committed to providing sponsors with an easy-to-use EDC solution. Through this partnership we will be able to further establish MetaTrial as the most acceptable EDC solution for users," said Anne Zielinski, CB's Vice President, Strategic Alliances. "MonitorForHire.com provides sponsors with a unique service to find the best monitors for their clinical trials. We are pleased to certify those monitors in the use of MetaTrial."
